Niscemi mourns fallen carabiniere at motorbike rally: ‘Goodbye Capitano’

The community of Niscemi is in disbelief and mourning after the death of 59-year-old carabiniere Liborio Muscia, who suffered a sudden illness while attending a motorbike event in Scoglitti. Muscia was with a group of friends when he fell off his bike and passed away. Despite the arrival of medical assistance, nothing could be done to save him. Muscia, a chief brigadier, was serving at the Gela Court escort office and was planning to retire next year. He leaves behind his wife and three children.
