Niscemi mourns fallen carabiniere at motorbike rally: ‘Goodbye Capitano’

The community of Niscemi is in disbelief and mourning after the death of 59-year-old carabiniere Liborio Muscia, who suffered a sudden illness while attending a motorbike event in Scoglitti. Muscia was with a group of friends when he fell off his bike and passed away. Despite the arrival of medical assistance, nothing could be done to save him. Muscia, a chief brigadier, was serving at the Gela Court escort office and was planning to retire next year. He leaves behind his wife and three children. The news has deeply affected the community of Niscemi, where Muscia was well-known. He is described as a friendly and dedicated man.
