Water outage in Trapani due to pump malfunction leaves residents without water

This morning (September 28), Trapani nuova will not receive the expected water supply in order to restore the flow levels to the Bresciana wells and return to normal. Once again, there is a water emergency. The cause: continuous power outages by Enel which have caused the pumps of the Bresciana wells to not restart. Despite the prompt interventions of the technicians from the Municipality of Trapani, the flow from Bresciana is not sufficient to reach the minimum levels to bring water into the city. The mayor, along with the assessore and the director, is monitoring the progress of the work to determine possible rotations. Within 24/48 hours, everything should return to normal. Enel management has been alerted to take decisive action to eliminate the serious malfunctions. Bresciana has become an ongoing issue for the citizens who rely on it for water supply, facing a complicated situation. Trapani has experienced a summer of water emergencies due to thefts, damages caused by unknown individuals, and pipeline failures.
