Vittoria, eight injured in four accidents and ER overwhelmed

In the province of Ragusa, Italy, four accidents occurred within a few hours, resulting in eight injuries. The city of Vittoria faced an emergency situation as the hospital’s emergency department became overwhelmed. Multiple ambulance requests had to be made to handle the situation. Thankfully, none of the injured are in critical condition, but the impact on the hospital’s emergency operations has been significant. The accidents involved collisions between cars, a motorcycle and a scooter, and two vehicles. The local municipal police are investigating the accidents.
