Tunisian waiter arrested for murder refuses to answer judge: “I didn’t do it, told everything to prosecutor”

32-year-old Tunisian waiter Ali Elabed Baguera, accused of killing Badr Boudjemai in Palermo, exercised his right to remain silent in front of the investigating judge. Baguera claimed to be innocent and stated that he went home after work on the night of the murder. The prosecution based its accusations on surveillance footage, but no evidence was found in Baguera’s home. The victim and the accused were rival waiters competing for customers from cruise ships. The decision on Baguera’s detention is pending.
