Three arrests in Misilmeri drug trafficking in front of historic city center pubs
Carabinieri arrested three young men aged 27, 32, and 22 for drug dealing near the clubs in the center of Misilmeri. The checks, prompted by complaints from several residents, led to the seizure of about 100 grams of cocaine, hashish, and marijuana, as well as the reporting of 9 drug users to the prefect. The young men were caught selling drugs to customers. In addition to the drugs, they had money from their drug dealing activities. The transactions took place in an alley near Piazza Comitato 1860. In one case, one of the young men tried to resist the police by threatening and resisting them, before being taken to the police station. At their homes, precision scales and materials for packaging doses were also found during the search. The judge at the court of Termini Imerese validated the arrests.
