Moments of tension outside the Renzo Barbera stadium, just before the start of the match against Parma. Some Palermo fans reportedly set off firecrackers in the area between the entrances to the structure and Viale Croce Rossa, where glass bottles were then thrown near the first entrance. A car was also set on fire.
At the scene are armored vehicles of law enforcement and riot police officers. Fear among those who were reaching the stadium to watch the match. Inside the Renzo Barbera stadium, tensions did not subside: Parma fans were already in the stands, some seats were detached and thrown from the guest sector towards the south curve. The entire area around the stadium is guarded by police and carabinieri in an attempt to restore order.
