Seizure for EU fraud as agricultural farm granted access to Sigonella military base
Carabinieri from the agricultural food protection unit in Messina carried out a seizure measure, issued by the court of Catania at the request of the Palermo European prosecutor’s office, of 441 thousand euros, in relation to an alleged fraud against the European Union. It was found, according to the investigations, that an agricultural company had declared the concession on the area of the Sigonella Military Airport base.
