San Vito Lo Capo, competition for municipal police officers: how to apply, official notice

The Municipality of San Vito Lo Capo has published a competition notice for 8 positions in the municipal police. It is a fixed-term employment, for a maximum of five months, part-time at 30 hours per week for temporary and seasonal needs. The application must be submitted by May 2, 2024.

THE NOTICE

Generic requirements:
Candidates must meet the following generic requirements: high school diploma allowing access to the university; Italian citizenship; be at least 18 years old at the deadline of the notice and not older than the retirement age set by current regulations. Those excluded from political electoral rights and those dismissed from public administration employment due to poor performance or declared unfit for state employment cannot apply. Candidates must not have any criminal convictions that would prevent them from establishing an employment relationship with the public administration.

Psychophysical suitability for the job: in relation to the position to be filled; compliance with military service obligations, for those subject to such obligations (only for males born before 1985); no incapacity to contract with the public administration as provided by law.

Specific requirements:
Candidates must meet the following specific requirements: valid category B driver’s license or higher; not recognized as a conscientious objector. Those who have participated in civil service must have been on leave for at least 5 years and definitively renounced conscientious objector status by submitting a declaration to the National Civil Service Office; not have been convicted of a non-negligent crime or subjected to preventive measures; not have been expelled from the Armed Forces or national military organizations.
