Roberto Andò directs “L’abbaglio” with extras training at Bellolampo

The filming of Roberto Andò’s new movie, titled “L’Abbaglio” and starring Toni Servillo, has begun. The film, produced by Bibi Film and Tramp Ltd, focuses on the story of three characters involved in Garibaldi’s expedition of the Mille. The filming is taking place in Palermo after previously shooting in Trapani, Erice, and Bellolampo. Extras and supporting actors were selected from all over Sicily with experience, and the male actors underwent 10 days of training to learn how to fight. The production also chose the historic center of Erice as a filming location. An ordinance in Palermo has been issued to restrict traffic and parking in certain streets until May 6th to accommodate the filming. Scenes will also be shot in the Resuttana neighborhood and in front of the stadium entrance on Via Del Fante.
