Ragusa man dies in hospital after days of agony: Fatal accident for assistant judge from Pachino

Salvatore Dugo, a 41-year-old man from Pachino, has not survived a road accident on via Paestum in Ragusa. The injuries sustained in the collision between his motorcycle and a minicar, driven by a young man, were too severe. After the impact, his condition appeared desperate to the rescuers, requiring transport to a better-equipped hospital by helicopter. Dugo was hospitalized at Cannizzaro in Catania, where he fought between life and death in the intensive care unit for days, until his passing this morning.

Salvatore Dugo worked at the court of Ragusa as a judicial assistant in the criminal registry. Many messages on social media remember him: “This morning I learned with great sorrow the news of the passing of Salvatore Dugo, esteemed young judicial assistant at the Court of Ragusa, highly appreciated by judges, lawyers, and colleagues for his preparation, kindness, and availability,” writes Saverio La Grua. The family has consented to organ donation. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th.
