Pistachio of Raffadali Dop, Consortium recognition achieved

The Raffadali Dop Pistachio now has a protection consortium. The designation came with a decree on December 4th from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry. The consortium will now represent the certified product. There are currently thirteen members, with ten producers and three packagers, but there are already several requests for pre-adherence to the consortium. The recognition opens up new opportunities for producers and the territory, and the consortium will be responsible for promoting and researching the product. This is seen as a significant step forward for the protection and promotion of the Raffadali Dop Pistachio.
