Palermo, there is a pothole in the road: Via Cappuccini closed
#Palermo
A manhole on Via Cappuccini in Palermo collapsed, leading to the closure of a section of the road to avoid accidents. The mayor, Roberto Lagalla, and the municipal commissioner for Public Works, Totò Orlando, signed an ordinance to block traffic on a 200-meter stretch between building numbers 10 and 82, which houses shops and accommodations. Traffic police and technicians from the city, Amat, and Amap were called to the scene, and the ban will remain in effect until repairs are made to the damaged road surface and sewer pipes. The collapse was reported by a local resident, who had previously raised concerns about flooding on the street.
