Palermo prosecutor: Separation of careers not the main justice issue
The prosecutor of Palermo, Maurizio de Lucia, said at a national association of magistrates congress that until there is a written text on a reform proposal for the justice system, it will not be clear what is being proposed. He also mentioned that with the many problems in the justice system, he does not believe that separating careers is a fundamental issue. He emphasized that the action of magistrates continues to be carried out autonomously and independently, and that they do their work to serve the country.
