Palermo nightlife areas inspected: three pubs fined

New controls and fines have been implemented in the Palermo nightlife by the Carabinieri, State Police, Financial Police, and Municipal Police, with the assistance of Asp personnel. Fines totaling 25,000 euros were issued to three pubs for unauthorized occupation of public land and failure to comply with health regulations. Irregularities were found in the establishments, including lack of proper employee documentation and training, as well as missing fiscal receipts. The operation was part of a multi-force security protocol called “High Impact” and focused on several areas in Palermo. Various irregularities were found in the pubs, resulting in fines and potential closure of the establishments. Overall, 248 people were identified and 8 establishments were checked.
