A 46-year-old man has been arrested for attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a 49-year-old man in the chest and back in the Borgo Vecchio district. The altercation is believed to have occurred following the theft of a dog. The victim was taken to Villa Sofia hospital with a serious condition. The assailant was apprehended by police officers near the scene of the fight. It has been reported that the two individuals initially fought with clubs and shovels before separating, but the conflict resumed shortly after. The police have confiscated a blood-stained knife, and the suspect is awaiting a court hearing.
