Palermo airport sees passenger and flight growth in November

In November, the number of passengers and flights at Palermo Falcone Borsellino international airport continued to increase. 474,912 passengers passed through the airport, a 14.7% increase compared to November 2022, and the highest November on record. The average passengers per flight remained high at 141. International traffic accounted for 19% of the month’s total and 30% of the annual total. The number of flights also increased by 16.96% compared to November 2022. From January to November, 7,575,048 passengers flew to and from Palermo airport, a 13.96% increase from the same period in 2022. The number of flights also increased by 6.89%. December is expected to see the transit of half a million passengers, with an 18% increase in flight scheduling.
