No more queues at Siracusa’s Asp: reservations now online

The Siracusa Local Health Authority has reactivated the online reservation system for visits and for picking up medicines and supplies at the pharmacy. The system, called Teom, allows remote ticket reservation through the company’s website. On the day of the appointment, it is necessary to arrive at least 10 minutes early and go to the ticket dispenser to have the QR code related to the reservation recognized (either by printing the attached pdf file from the email or using the smartphone screen) in order to receive the ticket and be placed in the queue for the chosen service in the lane reserved for reserved users.

Online Teom reservations are available for various services including the territorial pharmacy for the pick-up of oral nutrition, devices, and medications, as well as for the cup for services such as booking appointments, changing doctors, health cards, payments, incontinence, authorizations for celiac disease, diabetes, supplies, and exemptions for medical conditions and income.

“We wanted to return this online reservation service to the citizens to avoid lines and overcrowding at the counters,” says the extraordinary commissioner of the Siracusa Local Health Authority, Alessandro Caltagirone. “We urge those who can to avoid going to the counters, to use all the other alternative methods available to citizens such as the telephone cup, email, regional over-the-counter services, PagoPA, and the use of payment kiosks for tickets in all hospitals and districts in the province of Siracusa, as well as pharmacies that have adhered to the regional agreement.”

With the Teom reservation system, it is possible to book for various services at the Siracusa Local Health Authority and the territorial pharmacy in contrada Pizzuta, choosing the day and time from those available. After making the selection and completing the registration process, the user will receive a confirmation email with the chosen service indicated.
