National Drought Commissioner testifying at the Chamber: Water rationing already in 150 Sicilian Municipalities

In recent days, there has been a lot of rain in Italy, but currently the region of Sicily has had to ration water in 150 municipalities. The Commissioner against water scarcity, Nicola Dell’Acqua, expressed concern about the situation and mentioned that while there has been rain in Sardinia, Sicily has not received any rain at all. Dell’Acqua also mentioned that a working group has been formed among 7 Italian climate institutions to provide precise indications for each district on what will happen in the next 50 years in order to plan for the future.
