Mayor and councilor of Tremestieri Etneo suspended for vote trading
The prefect of Catania, Maria Carmela Librizzi, has suspended the mayor of Tremestieri Etneo, Santi Rando, and the city councilor Mario Ronsisvalle from their positions. They have been placed, respectively, under custody in prison and house arrest by the investigating judge at the court of Catania as part of the operation Pandora, carried out by the Carabinieri.
