Man arrested in Pozzallo with 11 grams of marijuana and 3 grams of cocaine

During a recent police inspection at the port of Pozzallo in Italy, 11 kilograms of marijuana and 3.2 kilograms of cocaine were seized. This operation, called Jad Mobile P’, was coordinated by Frontex and involved collaboration with the Customs Agency. The drugs, with an estimated street value of about 1.5 million euros, were found in two bags in the trunk of a high-performance car that was about to be transported on a catamaran to Malta. The driver, a 43-year-old, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, and is now in custody.
