Lieutenant colonel of the finance guard from Acireale dies while kitesurfing in Rimini.

Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Russo, commander of the financial police unit in Rimini, died after falling ill while kitesurfing in the sea. The 40-year-old military officer was found unconscious in the water by a lifeguard and was immediately given CPR before being rushed to the hospital. Despite the efforts to save him, he passed away at around 9pm. The incident occurred at around 1pm and has shocked the local community.
