Vita Varvaro, 91 years old, died in the hospital at Villa Sofia after being injured in a road accident on the Palermo Mazara del Vallo. The elderly woman was sitting in the front passenger seat of a Fiat Punto driven by a woman who collided with a Jeep Renegade near Capaci. The prosecutor has opened a file for the hypothesis of vehicular homicide and ordered an autopsy on the victim’s body.
