Investigation into show fraud in Palermo, Angela Fundarò cleared

The judge Clelia Maltese in Palermo has closed the proceedings against Angela Fundarò, a councilor of the Sant’Elia foundation who was involved in the fraud of shows. The investigation also involved former councilor Giulio Cusumano and singer Alessio Scarlata. Cusumano and Scarlata had agreed on a penalty last November. Fundarò, defended by lawyer Antonio Gargano, was being investigated for fraud against the State. The proceedings, as requested by the prosecution, have been closed due to the blatant unfoundedness of the crime report.
