Incident at work in Casteldaccia: six workers poisoned, three in critical condition

Work accident in Casteldaccia. Six workers who were carrying out maintenance work were involved. They were reportedly trapped and exposed to toxic fumes. When the alarm was raised, several ambulances from the emergency service and fire brigade teams arrived on the scene. Three workers have been rescued, but three are in critical condition. One of them, in desperate condition, required the arrival of a helicopter: he was intubated and transported to the Policlinico of Palermo. The intervention is still ongoing to rescue the other three colleagues. The police also arrived on the scene.
