Homage to Franco Scaldati, 10 years after his death, from Palermo to Prato

For twenty days, there will be shows, screenings, exhibitions, meetings, and performances all for free to honor the Palermo playwright Franco Scaldati on the tenth anniversary of his passing. From Palermo to Prato, Enna, Messina, and Catania, from December 1st to December 21st, the December Scaldati-Il Poeta ha inventato i nomi project, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, will come to an end. The event includes a film series, a photography exhibit, workshops, research labs, and multidisciplinary performances. It begins with a new exhibition at Castello di Carini, followed by a film series at Cinema De Seta in Palermo and ends with performances at Spazio Franco. The event will also include the presentation of the third and fourth volumes of Scaldati’s complete works, which has been nominated for the Ubu Awards.
