Former employee tries to steal from ex employer, gets caught while elderly mother unaware.
A 39-year-old convicted criminal from Catania attempted to flee from the police by climbing down from the balcony of a house he had just robbed. The police intervened after receiving reports of suspicious noises coming from the house. The man tried to escape but was caught and identified by the police. He was found with burglary tools and stolen jewelry worth approximately €1,500. The stolen items were returned to the rightful owners, who recognized the thief as their former driver. The man was arrested and placed under house arrest.
