Fishermen rescue two migrants abandoned on the cliffs in Lampedusa

Lampedusa fishermen, Giuseppe and Salvatore Del Volgo, father and son, saved two young migrants who had been abandoned on the cliffs in Muro Vecchio, on the North coast of the largest of the Pelagie Islands. They loaded the two African boys onto their boat and sent out an SOS, accompanying them to Cala Pisana where they were landed and entrusted to the care of 118 health workers. During the short trip, the men put all the blankets they had on the two boys and shared a loaf of bread with them.
