Excluded from the rap driver competition in Palermo, readmitted by the Tribunal

The Palermo Court, labor section, in a joint session, accepted the appeal brought by a candidate excluded from the oral test for 46 Rap drivers, assisted by lawyer Nadia Spallitta, confirming a well-established principle that even Participated companies, like Rap, must respect transparency and impartiality in public selections. In particular, the competition commission had failed to predetermine the criteria for allocating the vote to the candidate, thus not allowing to verify the process followed in assigning an insufficient score that led to exclusion from the oral test. With this decision, the labor judge also ordered the company to admit the candidate to the next practical competition and to pay the legal costs.
