Dead bather found in Catania, body floating in front of Lido Bellatrix

The body of an unidentified bather, believed to be between 50 and 60 years old, was recovered by firefighters in Catania near the Bellatrix beach. It will be transferred to the port captaincy for the coast guard to investigate and determine the cause of death. The prosecutor has ordered the body to be taken to a morgue in the city. The alarm was raised when the coast guard received a call reporting a lifeless body in the water.
