Il meccanico di Cianciana in silenzio dopo l'arresto, è in carcere a Sciacca in attesa di essere interrogato

The 35-year-old mechanic from Cianciana, Daniele Alba, remained silent both at the time of his arrest and during his first night in prison in Sciacca, after stabbing his wife and children yesterday (May 23, 2024). After being convinced to leave the house and surrender, following an exhausting negotiation by the operational unit of the carabinieri, he risked being lynched by a man who also punched the carabinieri’s car. The mechanic is accused of triple attempted murder and will be interrogated in the coming hours.

At the root of the bloody family attack was another argument with his wife who had told the man she wanted to leave him.

Meanwhile, the conditions of the two children, a three-year-old girl and her seven-year-old brother, remain serious as they are being treated in the intensive care unit at the children’s hospital in Palermo. The mother, who underwent surgery yesterday at the hospital in Ribera, is out of danger.
