Catania: Thief caught stealing in a bar on camera, owner calls police

A 30-year-old criminal with a record tried to commit a theft in a bar in the center of Catania, but was caught in the act by the owner who, watching the surveillance camera footage, called the police for assistance. The police arrived quickly and prevented the thief from escaping, arresting him on the spot. The bar owner filed a formal complaint, leading to the arrest of the criminal who is now under house arrest awaiting trial.
