Catania man tries to escape police control with drugs and weapons in car

In the night between Saturday and Sunday (4th and 5th of May), the officers of the General Prevention and Public Assistance Office of the Catania Police Headquarters, in Indipendenza street, tried to control a young man in a car but he fled. This sparked a chase that ended in Mario Rapisardi avenue. The individual was identified: he is a 22-year-old criminal from Catania, without a driver’s license. The young man was searched: tools for burglary, marijuana weighing a total of 0.91 grams and crack, weighing a total of 0.57 grams, were found in the car. He was reported in freedom for unjustified possession of offensive objects and reported for possession of narcotics for personal use.
