Cash register stolen in Caltanissetta, one arrest

Three young hooded individuals with their faces masked broke down the front door of a commercial establishment on Consultore Benintendi Street in Caltanissetta and entered to steal the cash register. A patrol of the Police noticed the scene and intervened, blocking one young man inside the premises: a twenty-year-old who was arrested for aggravated theft. The other two accomplices fled, leaving behind the stolen item, the cash register containing over 300 euros, but were still identified by the police as they had been checked and identified an hour earlier on Corso Umberto I. The arrested individual was taken to the police station and later appeared before the court in a solo composition, which validated the measure at the prosecution’s request.
