The article explains the celebration of 105 years of service by retired Carabiniere Salvatore Galante. He was born in Montedoro, Caltanissetta in 1919 and served in the Carabinieri for 35 years before retiring in 1974 as a vice brigade. He participated in World War II and was stationed in various locations, including Albania and Greece. Unfortunately, his colleagues who remained in Greece were killed in the Cephalonia massacre.
