Another road accident in Agrigento. Two cars collided on Viale Delle Dune di San Leone, near Via Morandi. According to initial reports, a Fiat Panda, driven by a newly licensed 20-year-old from Agrigento, collided with a BMW 1 Series. The impact was strong, and after the initial collision, the cars hit a third car belonging to a mayor of a town in the province of Agrigento. The two occupants of the Fiat Panda were injured. Emergency services were immediately called, and ambulances transported the driver and passenger to the emergency room at the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Agrigento. Tests showed that the young driver had a high blood alcohol level. He was reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for driving under the influence. Police officers from the Flying Squad also arrived at the scene to investigate the exact dynamics of the accident.
