An overturned car and a second vehicle that ended up on the sidewalk just steps from the railing. This is the scene this morning on Lincoln Street in Palermo.
Involved in the accident are a gray Fiat 500 and a green Fiat 600. A collision that woke up the neighborhood around 3:30 am, when the two vehicles came into contact. According to the reconstruction of the municipal police, the 500 would have hit the 600 that was parked. What is certain is the great scare.
Everything happened at the Botanical Garden, where the heavily damaged cars remained for hours, surrounded by shards of shattered windows.
The 500 overturned on the left side, while the Seicento, with the right front wheel punctured, was perpendicular to the sidewalk. The left rear bumper was almost detached from the rest of the vehicle. A few meters away, a bent and curved traffic pole shows traces of the accident. The municipal police officers, state police, and firefighters arrived at the scene.
