Caltanissetta: Migrant accused of sexual assault, cameras prove his innocence

A woman in Caltanissetta, Italy falsely accused a migrant of sexually assaulting her. After police reviewed CCTV footage, it was determined that there was no attempt of sexual violence. The woman activated a “pink code” and was taken to the emergency room by an ambulance. However, the woman’s story was immediately proven false, while the man’s words appeared sincere to investigators. The two had indeed met but there was no sexual assault. The woman will now be reported for defamation.
