An extensive fire has broken out in the area of Solazzo, Cresta del Gallo in the territory of Piazza Armerina. Two teams of firefighters, a fire truck, and 3 teams, two fire trucks and a helicopter from the forestry department are currently operating. Efforts are being made to prevent the flames from reaching nearby homes.
