Autopsy on slain merchant in Favara: three gunshot wounds

Francesco Simone, a 69-year-old car dealer in Favara, was killed with three close-range gunshots. The forensic doctor, appointed by the Agrigento prosecutor’s office, conducted a CT scan and autopsy. The victim was shot in the abdomen and then in the head. The forensic doctor will deliver the autopsy results to deputy prosecutor Maria Barbara Cifalinò in a couple of months. Simone appears to have tried to flee. The carabinieri are continuing their investigations.
