Arrested: Man stabs mother in Canicattì

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Canicattì on charges of domestic abuse. The man’s mother and sister reported him to the carabinieri, who executed the arrest warrant. Both women were in a state of emergency due to the man’s behavior. They recounted numerous incidents of violence, mostly occurring when the man would physically attack them while demanding money. In one of these fights, the man allegedly stabbed his mother in the neck with a fork. Following his arrest, the man was taken to a prison in Agrigento.
