Agrigento woman attacked by ex while returning home: hospitalized
An ex-partner attacked and injured a woman in the Quadrivio Spinasanta neighborhood in Agrigento. The forty-year-old woman, who had ended her relationship with her ex, was surprised by him while she was returning home. According to initial reports, the man had asked her, once again, to reconcile, but when she refused again, he became enraged, assaulting and beating the woman. The carabinieri from the mobile unit arrived at the scene of the attack, alerted by a call to the emergency number. The woman was injured and was taken to the emergency room at San Giovanni di Dio hospital for treatment. The man fled the scene immediately after the attack. The carabinieri have initiated an investigation.
