21-year-old motorcyclist in serious condition in hospital after a collision with a car

A road accident occurred yesterday afternoon around 5 pm on provincial road 89, which connects Randazzo to Castiglione di Sicilia and Francavilla di Sicilia. The accident took place in the Pignatone area of Randazzo and involved a car and a motorcycle. The 21-year-old motorcycle rider was seriously injured and his condition is currently uncertain. The medical team from 118 emergency service, firefighters from the Randazzo detachment, and volunteers from Maletto were present to provide assistance. The local police are conducting an investigation, and the injured individual was transported to Cannizzaro Hospital in Catania. The incident caused heavy traffic delays on the provincial road.
