Two drunk drivers try to flee in car after accident: police arrest them

Excessive drinking led to the arrest of two men, aged 31 and 34, known to the local carabinieri for property crimes. They were arrested for resisting a public officer after being involved in a car accident and becoming aggressive towards the authorities. Despite attempting to flee in their damaged car, they were stopped and arrested. The judge later ordered house arrest for the driver who refused to take a breathalyzer test.
