Mayor of Mazara, Salvatore Quinci heading towards second term

According to partial data collected in the electoral committees with 25.68% of the ballots counted in Mazara del Vallo, the victory in the first round of the outgoing mayor Salvatore Quinci is shaping up, currently standing at 46%. Lawyer Vita Ippolito, according to partial data, is at 29%, while Nicola Cristaldi, former mayor of the city and president of the Regional Assembly, is in third place.

Salvatore Quinci is supported by FdI, Libertà di Cateno De Luca, and three other civic lists. Ippolito, on the other hand, is supported by the Dc, Forza Italia, and three civic lists. Cristaldi, finally, is supported by 4 civic lists. In Mazara del Vallo, 27,542 voters (63.87%) out of 43,121 eligible voters have cast their ballots.
