9-year-old girl in Leonforte bitten by dog on the street: wound to lower abdomen

Another attack by a dog on a little girl. This time it happened in a small street behind Piazza Quattro Novembre in Leonforte. According to the reconstruction, the large-sized animal, a cross between a pitbull and a mongrel, was tied to a very long chain. The girls passed by with a friend, her contemporary, and the dog attacked them, biting the lower abdomen of one of them.

The girls screamed, the victim’s mother, who lives on the street, heard everything and rushed to the scene. The girl managed to escape and at that point the woman took her daughter to the emergency room at Ferro Branciforti Capra hospital. The friend remained in shock.

Doctors had to perform numerous stitches due to the lacerated wound in the right inguinal region and established a prognosis of 8 days.

The parents of the girl have already been questioned by the municipal police and their lawyer has announced that he will go to the police station to file a complaint.
