The State Police has been engaged since dawn in the cities of Bari, Cagliari, Benevento, Siracusa, and Teramo, in executing a warrant for pre-trial detention in prison, issued by the Gip section at the Bari Court, at the request of the local anti-mafia district directorate, against eight people, deemed responsible, in various capacities, based on evidence acquired during the investigations, for two murders, possession and detention of war weapons and common firearms. The murders were committed in 2017, in the Japigia district of Bari to facilitate the activities of the mafia-type association they were associated with.
