Work accident in Campofelice di Roccella: a worker falls from scaffolding and dies, his two sons also at the construction site
A new tragic work accident occurred in the province of Palermo, this time in Campofelice di Roccella. A 64-year-old worker, Giovanni Terrana, lost his life after falling from a scaffolding while carrying out renovation works on a building. Despite efforts to save him, the injuries were too severe and he could not be revived. The investigations are being carried out by the prosecutor’s office in Termini Imerese. The incident also involved the presence of Terrana’s two sons, who were working with him at the construction site. The authorities are looking into the company responsible for the works and whether safety regulations were followed. The mayor expressed sorrow at the loss and emphasized the need for workplace safety. In February, another construction worker died in Campofelice di Roccella due to a collapsed wall during renovation works.
