Weapons, ammunition, and drugs found in abandoned cars in Adrano.
Arms, ammunition, and drugs were seized by the State Police in Adrano during checks following anonymous reports of alleged gunshot explosions that occurred in a clearing adjacent to the public housing units in front of the town’s fruit and vegetable market. At the specified location, next to some open and abandoned cars, the officers found a bullet casing of a 7.65 Browning caliber projectile. In an abandoned car, they also found a glass jar with approximately 250 grams of cocaine, a 7.65 Browning caliber bullet, and marijuana.
Inside another abandoned car, the police officers found a backpack with approximately 350 grams of marijuana, another aluminum foil package containing marijuana, and an unbranded, unmarked, or stamped drum revolver, along with a box containing 42 6.35 caliber bullets, an unbranded, unmarked, or stamped .320 caliber revolver, along with 13 7.65 Browning caliber bullets, and a .65 Browning caliber semi-automatic pistol with an erased serial number, a round in the barrel, and a charger with four additional 7.65 Browning caliber bullets.
