Vueling inaugura un volo diretto tra Comiso e Barcellona

Vueling, part of the Iag group celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year, announces the opening of a new important connection from Comiso airport to Barcelona El Prat, its main hub. This route expands Vueling’s international flight network connecting Italy to the rest of Europe, confirming itself as a reference airline in the European panorama.

The Comiso – Barcelona El Prat route is a novelty, not only for Vueling: the Spanish airline is the first to connect the two airports with a direct flight, offering the possibility to reach the Catalan city with 2 weekly flights (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).

This route strengthens Vueling’s current operations in Sicily, where they also operate at Palermo Falcone e Borsellino airport (with 1 daily flight to Barcelona El Prat throughout the summer season and 9 weekly flights in high season, from June 21st to September 8th) and at Catania-Fontanarossa airport (with 1 daily flight to Barcelona El Prat throughout the summer season and 8 weekly flights in high season, from June 21st to September 8th, and with 5 weekly flights to Florence throughout the summer season), demonstrating the company’s commitment to this region.
